You’d think that after a chick has been flown around the world and decked out in lavish jewels and clothes given to her by her prior boyfriend, the next man would feel as though he’d have to go over and beyond to get her attention. Not Wiz Khalifa! When he first met Amber Rose, he kept it real simple by treating her to a lowkey burger joint on their first date and that ultimately helped him to win her heart.
Wiz finally proposed to Amber last week and after the engagement was announced, he decided to take a trip down memory lane with Global Grind by recalling their first date:
It was when I was moving out to L.A. and she had actually already lived there at the time and we lived in Hollywood. We were trying to find a nice little spot to get something to eat- something low key.We just went to Mel’s diner, sat down, got some turkey burgers and some strawberry lemonade … and that was our first date.
Meanwhile, Amber’s ex Kanye took a different approach to winning her heart. He had invited her to the Grammy’s and spoiled her with Chanel (a designer she had never worn before) before they even started dating.
When Wiz was asked if he thought that that celebrities could have it all, (career, successful relationship and good life) he responded:
No, I don’t think everyone can have it all. It’s only designed for a special breed of people. You have to be a special type of person to be able to key in and know what’s going on around you. But, those special people that do have that, I’d advise them to really see everything you have for what it is and come down off of your high horse, be about that and smoke some weed while you at it b-tch!
